Calderside Academy and St Bride's Primary proms

PUPILS from two Lanarkshire schools enjoyed top-class evenings as they celebrated the end of term in style.

Fifth-year girls from Calderside Academy were dressed to impress in their classy evening gowns.

A stretch Hummer limousine took them to their dinner dance at the Strathaven Hotel, where they all had a fantastic night.

Meanwhile, P7 pupils from St Bride’s Primary, Bothwell, were treated to a fantastic meal paid by the school’s parent teacher association.

The pupils attended a mass at St Bride’s Pastoral Centre before the meal.

The event was well attended by staff, pupils and the PTA, who have supported the school throughout the whole year.
