Fun day in High Blantyre

A FUN day is set to take place in High Blantyre this weekend.
And the event promises to have something for all the family to enjoy.
On Saturday, a magic show will kick-off the festivities at the Larkfield Hall at 10.30am.
A procession will then take place between the hall and Kirkton Park where, at noon, the fun day will commence.
Attractions include a BBQ, a football tournament, facilities for skateboarding, a climbing wall, a circus workshop and a free prize draw.
The event, which has been jointly organised by the Hyper Cyber Youth Project and the Larkfield Youth Project, will finish at 4pm.
A spokesperson for the organisers said that they are hoping for a really good turnout from the public for the events.
