New teaching pack launched in local schools

A TEACHING pack which encourages children and their parents to feel more confident about walking to and from school has been launched by South Lanarkshire Council.

Pupils from St Blane’s Primary School in Blantyre are amongst the first to try out the new initiative.

The Travelling Green pack contains a teacher’s handbook with plans and worksheets and individual pupil folders.
