Roadworks ahead for Blantyre

FIVE weeks of bridgeworks are set to begin on the A725 road in Blantyre.

It is set to commence on Monday, May 12.

Work at the Whirlies roundabout in East Kilbride is expected to end tomorrow (Friday).

It included laying monoblock, creating a parking area and carrying out various drainage improvements.
