Schools vouchers retained

ASDA Blantyre are to extend the green vouchers for schools campaign which they are currently promoting.

The supermarket giant decided to keep the scheme, which aims to reduce carrier bag usage, for another three months.

So far, local schoolchildren and their families in the town have reduced their usage of carrier bags by eight per cent. In exchange, they are given green vouchers which can be used to buy educational materials.
