In the spotlight at charity gig

A CONCERT for The Haven has raised £1616 for the charity.

The event, held in Blantyre Miners Welfare, featured four local artists including Eryka and Gary Bennett.

A spokesman for the charity said: “Everyone had a great time at the charity gig and the money raised will make a great difference to the lives of the families who are living with a life-limiting illness and turn to The Haven for support at a difficult time.

“As a small charity based in Blantyre, The Haven is dependant on local donations to fund our services.

Thanks to everyone involved who made the night such a success.”
