Cash donation to St Andrew's Hospice funds

BLANTYRE man Gerry Callaghan recently presented a cheque for £1000 to Tommy Anderson, from St Andrew’s Hospice, Airdrie.

Gerry recently celebrated his 65th birthday and had a party at Blantyre Miners’ Welfare with family and friends.

Instead of gifts, he asked his guests to donate some money to the hospice, which caters for patients from all over Lanarkshire.
