SECOND year pupils from Taylor High School and the school’s Euro club last week enjoyed a presentation on the European Parliament given by MEP Catherine Stihler.
The visit was organised by Lynn Kerr, principal teacher of modern languages to raise awareness of the European Parliament.
As well as explaining how the parliament worked, Mrs Stihler emphasised the importance of foreign language study to pupils.
Following the presentation pupils were given an opportunity to ask questions and a range of interesting topics were covered at this time.
