Prizegiving honours pupils of Braidhurst High

BRAIDHURST High School in Motherwell held their prizegiving night on Thursday, February 5, with Reverend Derek Pope as chairman.

The hall was packed to capacity with parents and friends and the principal guests were Madeleine Hannan and former athlete, Yvonne Murray-Mooney.

In her address to the pupils, Yvonne spoke about her own prizegiving days at school and described the life she had experienced through athletics, including Commonwealth and Olympic Games.
