TAYLOR High School was delighted to hear of the success of second-year pupil Amanda Connelly.
Singing sensation Amanda was successful in her audition for the prestigious National Girls' Choir.
Amanda's first training weekend with the choir will take place at Strathallan School in Perth this April after which she will perform in her first major concert.
Amanda recently played a prominent role, performing several solos, in the school's successful Carols by Candlelight event which was organised by Fiona Cannon of the music department.
The pupil is also currently a member of the Royal Scottish National Orchestra's Junior Chorus and has taken part in a number of acclaimed singing events including last year's Proms in the Park sponsored by the BBC.
