BUDDING fashion designers at Larkhall Academy are showcasing their work at a top museum.
Creative pupils at the Academy took part in the 10-week art and design project aimed at helping them to build a fashion career.
The youngsters took part in exploring a wide range of different design areas including jewellery and ceramics.
Pupils studied digital design and made initial drawings and manipulated the images by using Photoshop and their fabrics were printed at the Centre for Advanced Textiles at Glasgow School of Art.
The project was organised and funded by South Lanarkshire Council’s Cultural Co-ordinators and supported by staff in the art department.
Sharon McMachon, Art and Design teacher at the Academy, said: “The pupils loved this project and turned up full of ideas and enthusiasm.” Their work can be seen at the National Museum of Rural Life in East Kilbride until February 18.
