A THEATRE group made a big splash at a primary school when they warned pupils about the dangers of flooding.
The Scottish Environment Protection Agency (SEPA) teamed up with Cragrats Theatre in Education Company to bring a fun and factual play to Dalserf Primary School in Ashgill.
The fun and interactive production introduced children to issues such as flood preparation, the dangers of floods and the effects of climate change.
David Faichney, flood warning unit manager at SEPA, said: “It is important to encourage children to think about what they would do if a flood were to occur and how to reduce its impact on properties as well as the local communities.
“The play is an exciting way of getting these messages across and urging school children to take the information home.”

The tour is part of SEPA's annual Flood Awareness Campaign, running from October 2008 to March 2009.
