TAYLOR High School in New Stevenston held their first St Andrew’s Football Tournament to celebrate their new all-weather pitches.
Six teams from North Lanarkshire secondary schools took part in the under-14 tournament and five teams from the associated primaries in the afternoon festival. The event was a great success and will be held annually to celebrate St Andrew’s Day.
The Taylor High U-14 team won the shield.
The floodlit pitches have proven to be an asset to the local community with several football clubs making great use of the training facility.
