A TEAM of six S2 learners from Braidhurst High School, Natasha Dalziel, Jacob Smith, Nathan Fisher, Darren McIntyre, Sam Davies and Maxine McKukunga, have begun working hard on this year's Go4SET competition.
They will work very closely with John McGuire, head of science, and Eddie Gilhooley of MB aerospace who will be the mentor for the project.
The brief is to design an eco hotel and learn about electricity use in the home and in industry as well as renewable energy for the future.
The competition is designed to encourage science, engineering and technology awareness in young people.
The competition will culminate in a full day's presentation at the University of Strathclyde in March.
