Inter-house competitions are now off and running

THE first inter-house event of the year took place last Wednesday in Braidhurst High School with the very popular Fun Run.

Pupils from all year groups took the opportunity to dress up and run, walk or skip as many laps as possible.

Over 400 pupils took part in the event.

Several members of staff also took part, including the Head Teacher, Mr Derek Hannan, who made his customary guest appearance and completed a very creditable 16 laps.

The overall result saw Lorne finish comfortably ahead of Atholl, with Rannoch third and Morven fourth.

The charity committee have taken advantage of this event again and issued sponsor forms to raise money for Ugandan friends in Kamwokya.

The next inter-house events to take place will be the Potted Sports and Football competition today (Thursday).
