South Lanarkshire school holidays for 2009-2010

THE school holiday dates for 2009 and 2010 have been announced by South Lanarkshire council.
Teachers will return on August 13, 2009, from their summer holidays. The pupils will then return on August 17.
Schools will close on September 24 for the September weekend and will re-open on September 29. The October holidays will last between October 9 and October 19.
Schools close for Christmas on December 22. Pupils return on January 5, 2010.
The February holiday will take place between February 12 and February 17.
Easter Break will start on April 1, with the pupils returning on April 19.
Schools will close on May 3 and on May 27 for five days to account for local holidays. Pupils will then break for summer on June 25, 2010.
