James gets a head with art dream

BUDDING artist James Frew got into hot water with his head teacher recently, but thankfully it was only when he was cleaning his brushes.

The sixth-year Braidhurst High School student added to his portfolio by painting a portrait of his head teacher, Derrick Hannan.

This latest piece of work was to assist James to further his career intention of one day getting entry to art college.
