Focus on youth work programme

THE Home School Partnership are inviting parents and other adult carers within the John Ogilvie and Calderside learning communities to take part in an Introduction to Youth Work programme this summer.
The six-week training programme will cover activities such as Developing Groupwork Skills; Building Relationships with Young People; Managing Conflict; Child Protection and Health and Safety.
The course is free and participants do not have to have any previous experience of working with young people.
This six-week course starts on Wednesday, July 9, and will take place in Burnbank Family Centre from 6.15pm- 8.15pm.
