Nursery going for gold

BIG Bird Nursery in Larkhall have recently been awarded their silver ‘Health Promoting Nursery’ award and are now working towards their gold certificate.

The awards are given based on the standard of health education provided by nurseries.

This includes targeting areas like healthy eating and exercise, but also covers social and emotional issues.
