Netherburn pupils' eco-school work

PUPILS of Netherburn Primary have been working towards gaining an eco-school award.

As part of the school project, youngsters have been learning about different types of plants and made a special trip to Dobbies in the Clyde Valley where they bought plants and compost for playground planters.

Our photo shows pupils (from left) Tom McMillan, Maxine Armstrong, Gerry McGuinness, Reeann Davidson and Matthew Young with parents Frances Shaw, Angela Eathorne and Cathy King with Marie Beacom, head teacher (right), and Michael Moir of Dobbies.
