HAMILTON Grammar’s second annual Bring It On competition has taken place.
Bring It On challenges groups of pupils to work together to produce a performance in anything from dance to gymnastics.
Top prize went to the Dancing Divas who comprised second year pupils Rachel Hannen (13), Laura Ritchie (13), Rebecca Main (12), and Karen Moore (13).
The girls were praised for their imaginative and creative routine.
Organiser Michelle Moles said the competition had doubled in size. “It is an excellent opportunity for our pupils to learn about dance plus demonstrate their ability in developing choreography and their own style of presentation,” she continued.
Each group select their own music and costumes and have six weeks to rehearse the routine. Judges were principal teacher of PE Gavin Gordon, deputy head Gerry McAuley, and Graham Parry, drama teacher.
