Basketball festival brings pupils together

Basketball at Blantyre Leisure Centre

PRIMARY SEVEN pupils from the six feeder schools to John Ogilvie High School came together to participate in basketball at Blantyre Leisure Centre.

The festival took place on Thursday 6th March and was organised by the Primary Active Schools Co-ordinator for the Learning Community, Allison Corrigan.

The event gave Primary seven pupils the chance to show off their basketball skills as well as meet new friends that they will meet again at the high school after the summer.

The six Primaries involved were St Blane's, St Joseph's, St Mark's, St Peter's, St Ninian's, and St Cuthbert's.
