Police vehicle involved in crash in Burnbank

A MARKED police car was involved in a road collision with another car in Burnbank last night (Sunday).

The crash occured at around 2045 BST on Burbank Road at the junction with Argyle Drive. Both male police officers and the male driver of a Honda Accord were removed by ambulance and taken to Hairmyres hospital in East Kilbride.

All three were discharged following treatment for their injuries.

A police spokesperson said: "Following police enquiries, a 29-year-old man is subject of a report to the procurator fiscal in relation to alleged road traffic offences."
