Overturned truck causes delays

AN overturned lorry brought traffic to a standstill in Cambuslang today (Thursday).

The vehicle overturned at around 6 am on the A724 this morning under a railway bridge at Fullerton Road near Cambuslang.

The driver escaped uninjured.

A police spokesperson said; “There was a spillage in the fuel tank and the road will be closed for sometime while it gets recovered.”

“There is diversions in place at Fullerton road between the roundabout at Dullarton Drive too the roundabout at Boglehole Road.”
