Swan sighted on Lanarkshire’s A723

A SWAN was sighted on the Motherwell Road side of A723 this morning a long with two police officers.

The swan was on the right hand side of the motorway just before the M74 fly over, coming from Hamilton to Motherwell.

One onlooker said: “The scene was so comical. I saw the Swan standing between the two police officers who were standing with their arms folded.

“They looked as if they were the Swan’s minders.”

If you have any pictures of the Swan send them as an attachment to icscotland@s-un.co.uk
