Drugs charge plea
AN UDDINGSTON man was put on probation for 18 months this week for cocaine possession.
David Young, of Poplar Place, was also fined a total of £130 for carrying out assaults on two police officers.
Young (25) had admitted possessing the class-A drug at Old Edinburgh Road on December 12 last year.
He also pleaded guilty to assaulting constable Laura Anderson by punching her on the body and constable Grant Little by kicking him on the body.
