Youth denies assault charge

A HAMILTON teenager this week denied threatening to stab a man before robbing him of a mobile phone.

Keith Anderson (18), of Brackenhill Drive, is alleged to have assaulted David McMillan on Meikle Earnock Road last Sunday, October 5.

At Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, Sheriff John Miller set the trial for November 3 and detained Anderson in custody meantime.
