Frock bodice nicked

A BOLD thief stole a bodice from a wedding dress at Suitz-U shop in Waterside Street, Strathaven, on Thursday September 18.

The theft happened around 3.30pm. The dress had been put into the dry cleaners and comprised a bodice, cape and skirt.

While the shop was open, but unattended, the thief removed the bodice from the ironing boards and made off.

THERE was an attempted break-in at a house on Lethame Road, Strathaven, in the early hours of Tuesday, September 23.
