Drugs accused opts for trial

A NEWARTHILL couple have denied supplying heroin from their home.

Mary and James Brown, of Lochlea Way, both denied supplying the class A drug from their address on September 23.

The duo, aged 52 and 50 respectively, also denied possessing the drug.

At Hamilton Sheriff Court last week, Sheriff Danny Scullion set their trial for December 1 and granted them bail.
