Hamilton man admonished over breach of the peace

A HAMILTON man charged with a breach of the peace has been admonished.

David Hastie (26), of Craigburn Street, had admitted committing a breach of the peace on October 21, 2007, in his home street, by shouting and swearing.

He also pleaded guilty to resisting arrest.

Hastie had also been charged with threatening to kill Ashley Fallon and possessing amphetamines at Hamilton Police Office.

But in November last year, Hastie’s pleas of not guilty to these charges were accepted by the procurator fiscal.

At Hamilton Sheriff Court, Sheriff David Bicket admonished Hastie, noting he had been of good behaviour for the past seven months.
