Teenager used stolen bank card

A TEENAGE girl used a stolen bank card to thieve £4000 from a Larkhall autoteller.

Stacy Mackinnon (18) admitted committing the theft between August 20 and September 3, 2007, at a cash machine in Union Street.

She pleaded guilty to the offence at Hamilton Sheriff Court earlier this year.

Mackinnon had also admitted stealing the bank card, and a document with a PIN number, at her former address, 75 Glen Avenue, Larkhall.

On Monday, Sheriff Joyce Powrie deferred sentence on Mackinnon - who now lives at Dovecastle Drive, Strathaven - until July 28 and allowed her bail.
