Man denies attack on Hamilton woman

A MAN this week denied attacking a Hamilton woman by pushing her glasses into her head.

Paul Richardson (46) pleaded not guilty to an assault charge which further stated that he climbed on top of Lynn Stone and punched her at 52 Comely Bank on June 26.

Richardson, of no fixed abode, also denied committing a breach of the peace there a few days later.

At Hamilton Sheriff Court on Monday, Sheriff Joyce Powrie set his trial date for October 6 and granted bail.
