Cops in plea for cashline witness

POLICE were this week investigating claims that a woman robbed a teenager as he was withdrawing money from a cash machine.

The 16-year-old alleges that he was robbed of £30 after using the automatic cash machine at Trongate in Stonehouse.

It happened about 8.30am Saturday.

He told police that a woman aged about 30 threatened him and stole the money he had just taken out.

Police have appealed for witnesses.
