Uddingston man jailed for four months

AN Uddingston man was this week jailed for four months for carrying a wooden weapon.

John Flannigan (23), of Hawthorn Terrace, Viewpark, admitted an amended charge in which a piece of wood was substituted for a pool cue.

Hamilton Sheriff Court heard he had a long criminal record.
