Threats man fined
A HAMILTON man has been fined for phoning a woman and threatening to kill her.
John Hamilton (46), of Hillside Crescent, made repeated phone calls to Janet Loudon on November 29 and November 30, 2006, at a house in Meadowfoot Road, Strathaven.
During the calls he threatened to shoot and kill Ms Loudon.
Hamilton admitted the offence in March.
At Hamilton Sheriff Court last week, Sheriff Shiona Waldron fined him £300.
