Hamilton man pleads not guilty to choke offence
A HAMILTON man has denied assaulting a woman at his home on New Year’s Day.
Christopher Crookston (21), of Dechmont Street, pleaded not guilty at Hamilton Sheriff Court to assaulting Gillian Green by seizing her by the throat, pushing her to the ground and compressing her throat.
Sheriff Shiona Waldron ordered Crookston to appear for trial in April.
