Probe after body discovered in burn

A man has been found dead in a burn in West Lothian.

His body was discovered in the water near Holmes Court in Broxburn early on Saturday morning.

A spokeswoman for Lothian and Borders Police said inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the death were in the early stages.

No further information will be given out until police have identified the man, and his next of kin have been informed.
