Man's body found floating in river

The body of a man has been discovered floating in a river in the Borders.

Police are trying to identify the man, thought to be in his mid-20s.

The body was found in Ettrick Water near Bannerfield housing estate in Selkirk at around 11.10am on Sunday by a person out walking.

Lothian and Borders Police said there are no suspicious circumstances.

A report has been filed with the procurator fiscal and police said anyone who may have information should come forward.
