Students to design tartan for Trump

Scottish fashion students have been invited to design a tartan which could be used at Donald Trump's golf development, it has been announced.

It is hoped the end product will feature in the club house and hotel interiors at the site of the controversial £1 billion project on the Menie estate, Aberdeenshire.

The design may also be incorporated into golf wear and resort merchandise, and will become part of the identity and branding of Trump International - Scotland.
