Man charged with murdering mother

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a mother-of-three whose body was found dumped in undergrowth after a night out.

Mary McLaren, 34, went missing following a night out with her sister at Fat Sams nightclub in Dundee on February 25.

The body of the married woman was found on an embankment near the city's Ladywell roundabout last Wednesday, almost two weeks later.
