Woman angered by NHS records error

A woman whose medical records were transferred to another surgery without her knowledge has spoken of her anger over the mistake.

Mary Corbey, 51, only discovered she had not been registered with her GP in Girvan, Ayrshire, for four-and-a-half-years when she went to the doctor feeling unwell.

Her records had been transferred to a practice in Manchester when a woman registered there with what appeared to be the same date of birth.
