£1.6m drive to help teenage mothers

A US-style project that aims to help teenage mothers has been launched in Scotland.

Health Secretary Nicola Sturgeon said she was sure the £1.6 million test programme, being run in the NHS Lothian area, would have a number of benefits.

The family nurse partnership is supporting first-time parents and single mothers under the age of 19.
