Updated economic plan 'can help'

A new updated economic action plan will help give Scottish firms a "competitive edge", Finance Secretary John Swinney has said.

The Scottish Government has launched an updated version of its economic recovery plan, which was put in place in summer 2008 to help counter the impact of the recession.

The updated version identifies a number of areas that ministers believe are key to boosting economic performance.
