Celtic player 'caught speeding'

A footballer was clocked driving at 54mph in a 30mph area, a court heard.

Pc Alexander Smith said he saw the speed on the screen of the Unipar SL700 equipment, which was being held by a colleague.

Aiden McGeady, who is a winger for Celtic, denies the speeding charge which allegedly took place on Carmunnock Road in Glasgow on February 15 last year.
