A drink driver has become the first in Scotland to lose his car in a crackdown on repeat offenders, it has been revealed.
John Tse, 55, from Dalkeith, Midlothian, admitted the offence at Edinburgh Sheriff Court.
He was also banned for four years and fined £200 after being caught on the A68 near Dalkeith in the early hours of Thursday morning. It was his second drink-driving offence in five years.
