Victim's clothes 'doused in petrol'

A teenager who died after a flat blaze had an "extremely high level" of petrol on her clothing, an expert has told a murder trial.

Scientific tests on Jessica McCagh's burnt clothes revealed a higher level than that found inside a petrol can, jurors were told.

Forensic scientist Rebecca Peplar said she could not recall seeing any other burnt clothing with such a high reading.
