Personal care costs unveiled

Latest figures on the costs of free personal care are being published by the Scottish Government.

The publication of costs of the policy for 2008 coincides with criticism of the Westminster Government by Lord Sutherland, the architect of Scotland's system of free personal care for the elderly.

Plans for free personal care in England were set out last week in the Queen's Speech.
