An MSP who cost the taxpayer nearly £27,000 on postage and other office supplies has defended his spending.
Tory John Lamont said the costs were run up because he has an "incredibly busy" constituency office.
He claimed the most of any of Holyrood's 129 MSPs on office supplies last year, claiming £26,952 in 2008-09 on supplies which included stationery and postage.
