'Low-carbon' heater grants unveiled

Grants will be offered to rural households to help install new heating systems and cut utility bills.

Up to £6,500 is available for "low-carbon" heat pumps for people who normally rely on oil or solid fuels.

Housing and Communities Minister Alex Neil announced the grants in the Scottish Government's £60 million energy assistance package.
