Couple recall masked raid ordeal

A couple have told of their terrifying ordeal after masked men burst into their home and tied them up.

Detectives in Perthshire are investigating the motive for the attack, which took place on Tuesday night at their home on the premises of a car salvage company in Dalcrue near Pitcairngreen.

At one stage in the hour-long ordeal 57-year-old Gordon Barnes was taken from his house and thrown down an embankment into the River Almond.
